Kids Take The Stage!
Falconworks Artists Group's Off the Hook TM program brings teens together with theater professionals to produce original plays. Six young playwrights, with the support of professional writers, actors, and directors, will take center stage in their own plays for an evening of funny, moving, raw, wonderfully original theater.

Spring 2008 shows will be presented Friday, April 18 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 19 at 3:00 pm. Shows are presented at PS 15 - The Patrick Daly School. The address is 71 Sullivan Street (between Van Brunt and Richards)in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Admission is free! Program Director Andrew Irons Andrew Irons (Program Director, Off The Hook) is a Playwright, and Producing Director and Founding Member of ANDHOW! Theater Company. For Andhow! he has written Little Suckers (The Ohio Theater, 2005), Non-D (The Ontological Theater, 2003, Backstage STIMY Award; Powerful Production 2003-2004), Paschal Full Moon (78th Street Theater Lab, 2000), and has received readings of Yakima Man (Dialogue '02) and his Iris (Garden Plays '05). His play Tunnel was produced at Expanded Arts in 1998. As an actor and playwright, he has work with several New York Theater companies, including adobe theater company, New Dramatists, Gilgamesh Theater Group, Expanded Arts, The Ontological, New Georges, Turnip and 78th Street Theater Lab.

Andrew currently teaches Acting at Westchester Community College. He has as taught theater at Sarah Lawrence College’s Summer High School Writing Intensive, The Hudson River Academy, The Allen Stevenson School, and Penobscot Theater Company. He has studied at the American Conservatory Theater, The National Theater Institute, is a graduate of Skidmore College (BA/BS) and has his MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
