OFF THE HOOK™

Now accepting applications for Spring 2012.

"Off the Hook" is a program that introduces young people to theater and playwriting and offers them the opportunity to express themselves in their own voices and make a vital contribution to their neighborhood. The performances of the plays, occurring twice annually, are a major community event in Red Hook, attracting about 300 audience members to PS 15.

RED HOOK STORY PROJECT™

This program is open to all Red Hook residents.

The Red Hook Story Project is a community based documentary theater project on the history and struggles of diverse cultures in Red Hook, and how the community both created and reacted to pivotal moments in local history. These stories will be combined and edited into a full-length play to be produced in Red Hook.
